GroupEx in the Community
GroupEx believes the power of success comes from the privilege of giving. Through various activities and continual commitment to the communities we serve, GroupEx participates actively with various initiatives and organizations such as:
- Leadership Thru Books – organization created by GroupEx founders that raises funds for community libraries, literacy programs and scholarships for primary, secondary and higher educational institutions in Guatemala to combat the high illiteracy rate.
- Disaster relief efforts – working with the American Red Cross, we raised funds through company donations as well as from employees and other business partners for victims of natural disasters.
- “Apoyando a la Educacion” (Supporting Education): work with Guatemalan First Lady in support of this program which repairs public schools in poverty stricken areas of Guatemala.
