Headquartered in La Mirada, California, GroupEx was founded in 1999.  GroupEx is the umbrella name of a group of companies that offer a suite of services at competitive prices and with superior customer service. Through the vision of the owners, they formed a Board of Directors that manages the centralized services and the logistical operations of all the companies.

GFCGroupEx Financial Corporation: Created in 1998, GroupEx Financial Corporation (GFC) grew out of the need from customers to obtain money orders to send abroad. Through GFC, customers can purchase money orders at GroupEx locations. GFC offers various products and services that satisfy the changing needs of our customers. Some of those services include wire transfers through the Reymesa brand and Money Order Plus (MOP), a hybrid money order transaction allowing for the printing of a GFC money order in the receiving country. 

 

mexico-logoMexico Express: In 1991, the owners tapped into the potential of the U.S.-Mexico market by establishing Mexico Express, which has now become the leading brand in the express delivery of money orders, letters and documents to various locations within the Mexican territory.

 

king-logoKing Express: A family of Guatemalan brothers moved to Los Angeles in 1987 and established a company to respond to the essential needs of the immigrant community. This company was King Express, the first company to deliver letters, money orders, documents and packages from the United States to Guatemala.

 

compremexCompreMex: CompreMex was created to serve as the retail arm for the   GroupEx family of companies. All company owned offices operate under CompreMex, providing customers with a one-stop shop where they will find all the financial services and products available at GroupEx. CompreMex ensures that customer service and quality control remain a top priority for our business.
